Herrhammer GmbH Spezialmaschinen, based in Ochsenfurt, develops and manufactures machines and fully automated production lines for the candle industry. The portfolio covers the entire process chain: wax preparation (extruder, plunger and rotary presses), filling of containers made of glass, sheet metal, terracotta and plastic, casting, drawing, dipping, cup production, color dipping and lacquering, wicking, further processing and packaging, including accessories such as conveyors and labeling machines. The company supplies both fully automated lines for mass production and single machines for small batch sizes. Machines and systems are individually designed and tailored to customer requirements; in addition, planning, leasing, used machinery, workshops, tutorials and a call-back service are offered. Founded in 1948 by Alfred Herrhammer, the family business is now run by the third generation and is one of the world's largest machine suppliers in the candle machinery sector.

Paraffin
Used in extruder, plunger and rotary pressing as well as in candle casting.
Paraffin-catalytic mixture

History
- 1948
Alfred Herrhammer, previously a turbine design engineer at Junker in Dessau, returned to his hometown Winterhausen and repaired machines there – the beginning of the family business, now in its 3rd generation.
