About Hertsch AG
Hertsch AG is a Swiss steel trading company headquartered in Zurich with a warehouse operation in Islikon in the canton of Thurgau. The company stocks more than 50 different steel grades as well as stainless steel of all grades from inventory and supplies customers in Switzerland with cut-to-size material and semi-finished products. In its in-house machining service, bars and profiles are cut on two fully automatic KASTO high-bay warehouses with attached sawing centers and machined upon request. Services also include technical consulting and logistics through to the customer. The company's roots go back to 1895, when Dr. Albert Blum founded the firm Kaller Böhler-Stahl in Stuttgart; in 1920 the headquarters were moved to Zurich. Since 1995 the company's quality management system has been certified to ISO 9001, and the most recent maintenance audit by SQS was passed successfully.
