About HERWE

HERWE is a medium-sized, family-owned company in its second generation and, since its founding in 1990, has been a recognized supplier of oleochemical and fat-processing products. The portfolio comprises fatty acids and glycerine, stearates and metal soaps, esters as well as fatty acid amides, including ethylene bis-stearamides (EBS). In addition to trading in raw materials and processing auxiliaries, HERWE is a manufacturer of tailor-made aqueous oleochemical specialty dispersions. Key markets are the wood-based materials industry, in particular additives for the production of particleboard and fiberboard, as well as additives for paper impregnation processes. Almost as long as its own business history, the company has exclusively represented the products of WIZ Chemicals (Italy) in the German market. With locations in Europe and the USA, large warehouse capacities, worldwide logistics and the sale of small quantities from a single packaging unit, national and international customers of all sizes and industry sectors are supplied.
