The Herz-Gefäß-Zentrum München is an interdisciplinary specialist practice for heart and vascular medicine with over 30 years of experience in patient care. Under one roof, the center combines the disciplines of cardiology, angiology and nuclear medicine, supplemented by nephrology and pulmonology, and is supported by 15 experienced specialists. Its range of services includes, among other things, ECG and exercise diagnostics, echocardiography and stress echocardiography, long-term ECG and long-term blood pressure monitoring, Doppler/duplex ultrasound as well as nuclear medicine functional diagnostics. For invasive examinations, a dedicated cardiac catheterization laboratory is available at the Nymphenburg site at Klinikum Dritter Orden; in addition, the practice operates its own laboratory. The center runs two locations in Munich – in the city center (Maffeistr. 3 in the Schäfflerhof) and in Nymphenburg (Franz-Schrank-Str. 2) – and works closely with referring practices. Conditions treated include, among others, coronary heart disease, hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, heart valve disease as well as arterial and venous vascular diseases.
