herzog systems ag is a Swiss manufacturer of shut-off nozzles (needle and pin shut-off nozzles), process valves and accessories for thermoplastic and elastomer processing. The family-owned company, founded in 1976 in Wolfertswil and headquartered in Flawil, develops and manufactures nozzles for high-pressure and high-temperature applications up to 3000 bar and 450 °C. The portfolio includes needle shut-off nozzles (types HP, A, SHP, NE, HPRE, TSN), pin shut-off nozzles (BHP, BHPR, BHPRE), injectors for gas injection technology (GIT), injection and process valves for extrusion, as well as filter units, mixing units, heater bands and temperature sensors. Production takes place in integrated, fully automated manufacturing cells with high-precision machining of corrosion-resistant materials; a 3D measuring machine ensures quality in real time. Customer industries include the packaging, automotive, medical technology, electrical engineering and leisure industries as well as the processing of technical plastics. In addition to new products, the company offers consulting, retrofitting (sensor technology, retraction units) and service. With subsidiaries in Japan and China, representatives in over 20 countries and around 50 employees, herzog systems ag delivers worldwide, with short delivery times thanks to automated storage lift systems.
