About Erkert
HES-Präzisionsteile Hermann Erkert GmbH is a family-run metal cutting company in its third generation, founded in 1935 and headquartered in Sulzbach an der Murr in the Rems-Murr district. The company manufactures ready-to-install precision parts and pre-assembled assemblies from metal, from prototypes to large-scale series – with a capacity of around 150,000 parts per working day. The range of processes includes CNC turning on single- and multi-spindle machines, CNC milling, cylindrical, internal, non-round and surface grinding, gear cutting, gear grinding, deep-hole drilling, honing, induction hardening, blasting, deburring and laser welding through to fully automated assembly. The machine park across 77,000 sqm of production space is automated with more than 500 robots; an in-house special machine engineering department develops pick-and-place, bin-picking and measuring stations. The main customer industries are automotive and e-mobility as well as general industry.
