About Dekoora
Hess & Friends GmbH operates an online shop for handmade wall art under the Dekoora brand, based in Berlin. The product range includes posters made of matte fine-art poster paper (230 g/m²), canvas prints on cotton canvas (360 g/m², cotton/synthetic fibre blend) as well as custom-made frames and stretcher bars made of FSC-certified spruce wood from European forestry. Printing is done in large-format printing with Canon printers and premium pigment inks; the prints are UV- and water-resistant. Stretcher frames are assembled and canvas-stretched by hand in the Berlin studio, and canvases can be re-stretched. Production takes place on demand on more than 350 m² in Berlin Adlershof, with hundreds of wall pictures produced every week – for the company's own online shop as well as for distribution via art markets and pop-up stores. The range includes more than 1,000 designs by local and international artists in five product types. Customers are primarily end consumers in the home & living segment; business customers are supported by a dedicated support team.
