Hesse Stanzwerkzeuge GmbH was founded in 1929 and is a family-run company in its fourth generation, headquartered in Alfeld. The company specializes in the manufacture of flat die-cutting tools for processing solid and corrugated board; the portfolio also includes stripping tools, nick-cutting tools, tools with stabilized base plates of the H/SK series, and tools with integrated finishing steps such as embossing and counter-scoring. Tools with high blades for deep-drawn parts and sealing materials, as well as special tools for the automotive industry, round out the range of services. Production includes laser cutting of die-board blanks made of plywood, CNC milling of counter blades made of Pertinax and steel, as well as hard-chrome-plated steel counter plates. Since January 2021, Hesse has been part of the Chespa Group, one of the leading manufacturers of die-cutting tools in Europe with three production sites. As an ISO 9001 certified system supplier, Hesse serves customers in the printing and packaging industry as well as the tobacco, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food industries worldwide.
