HEUER & SOHN Spezialmaschinenbau is an owner-managed mechanical engineering company based in Tespe/Avendorf with roots dating back to 1924. The company develops and manufactures semi- and fully automatic stretch wrappers, complete winding systems with conveying technology, special-purpose machines such as palletizers, pallet magazines and transport systems, as well as needle-felt machines ranging from pre-needle-punching to high-performance duplex versions. Mechanical design, manufacturing, electrical engineering and programming are all carried out in-house, enabling practical implementation of customer-specific adaptations to packaging goods, material flow, operation and safety technology. Customers come primarily from the packaging industry, the nonwoven/textile industry and the food sector with stainless steel (VA) versions. In the 1970s, the company built a pilot plant for needle-felt investigations developed by RWTH Aachen. The site is located at Elbuferstraße 41 in 21395 Tespe/Avendorf (Local Court Lüneburg, HRA 110127).
