About HEUS Betonwerke GmbH
HEUS Betonwerke GmbH was founded in 1949 as the construction company Heinrich Eufinger & Söhne in Elz and is today a medium-sized family business in its fourth generation with over 200 employees. At four production plants in Elz, Wiesbaden-Delkenheim, Dornburg-Frickhofen as well as Lorsch and Erlenbach, concrete blocks are produced with an annual production of over 1,000,000 m². The product range includes functional, design and eco paving, concrete slabs, kerbstones, wall and slope stabilization systems, civil engineering and concrete elements, adhesive kerb systems, water-conveying channel systems as well as street furniture. Products are made from concrete based on CEM I cement, aggregates from the company's own Werschau gravel plant and selected natural stone facing; surfaces are finished, among other things, as washed concrete, water- or sand-blasted, and with a reflective coating (REFLEKT). An in-house manual production facility in Frickhofen manufactures special parts. Distribution is exclusively via the building materials trade; installation is offered by HEUS-Pflaster-Tiefbau GmbH, which belongs to the group.

Quality & Monitoring
The concrete products are subject to continuous internal and external monitoring by Güteschutz Hessen Beton and meet the highest requirement class of the current standards (DIN EN 1338, 1339, 1340, 13198). In addition, the products are awarded the HEUS quality seal (HQ), whose key feature is increased frost-thawing salt resistance according to the Kassel guideline (CDF).

The Eufinger family begins producing blocks in wooden molds and using them in house construction.

Heinrich Eufinger founds a construction company with his sons Heinrich and Werner on 01 June.
