HEUTE Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, based in Solingen, is the manufacturer of the mechanical shoe-cleaning zones ProfilGate® for production and logistics halls. The systems stop up to 80% of contamination at entrances and transitions by brushing dirt off shoes and off the wheels of vehicles such as forklifts or hand carts and collecting it in easily cleaned collection trays. The brushes of the shoe-cleaning zones are moved back and forth manually by the vibrations generated when driving over them. The systems are made from high-quality materials and are designed for loads of up to 40 tonnes. Areas of application include, among others, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, the beverage and food industries, and the plastics and packaging industry. The solutions support industry-specific hygiene and certification standards such as HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, GMP+, FDA, BRC, IFS, BRCGS Packaging Materials, VDA 19.2 and ISO 16232.
