About HEW-KABEL
HEW-KABEL GmbH, headquartered in Wipperfürth, is an internationally active manufacturer of customer-specific specialty cables, wires and cable assembly systems. The company develops and manufactures cables for demanding applications in robotics, aerospace, defence, marine, medical technology, automotive, industry and energy. Its value chain ranges from cable design through construction geometry and material selection to continuous (re-)certification. Core competencies include extreme temperature resistance, miniature manufacturing from 0.0125 mm, and water-tight cables with halogen-free filling material. Proprietary materials such as silicone compounds (own brand Silindo) are partly developed and tested in-house. With more than 400 employees, over 700 customers and international locations in Germany, China, Poland and Sweden, the HEW-KABEL Group has been part of the Habia Group since 2022.
