HEWO Getränke-Vertriebs-GmbH is a Mainz family business founded in 1892 as the beer publisher Bierverlag Martin Hefele. Today, under the name "Der Mainzer Getränke-Blitz", the company delivers beverages to private households, the gastronomy sector, large corporations and event organizers in Mainz and the surrounding suburbs. The range includes more than 1000 items, including keg and bottled beers, water, soft drinks, juices, schorle drinks, regional and supraregional wines and sparkling wines as well as apple wines; the premium beer brand Waldhaus from the Southern Black Forest is part of the offering. The delivery service serves business and private customers from five uniform crates upwards, with next-day delivery in Mainz city districts, and takes back the empty containers at the same time. In addition, HEWO offers a rental service for events with brewery table sets, tap equipment, refrigerators, counters, bistro tables, glasses and refrigerated trailers, as well as beverage consulting, order picking and pre-cooling of event orders. Alternatively, orders can also be collected on site from one uniform crate upwards.
