About Hexagon Agility
Hexagon Agility is a globally active provider of clean fuel solutions for commercial vehicles and of gas transport solutions. The company develops and manufactures natural gas storage and delivery systems (CNG/RNG), propane fuel systems, lightweight Type 4 composite gas pressure cylinders under the TUFFSHELL® brand, and Mobile Pipeline® modules (TITAN®, X-STORE®) for gas distribution to areas without pipeline access. The cylinders are made of carbon fiber composite with a plastic liner and are manufactured, among other methods, using filament winding technology — a process with roots in the Lincoln plant, which produced filament-wound rocket motor cases for NASA from 1963. Customers are OEMs, dealers and fleet operators in the truck, refuse vehicle and bus sectors, as well as gas distributors. Through FleetCare, the company also offers aftermarket services such as cylinder inspections, field service, Genuine Parts and technical training. Around 900 employees work at locations in the USA, Canada and Europe; in the German-speaking region there are production sites in Kassel and Burscheid as well as a Commercial Center in Munich.
