About HEYERDESIGN
HEYERDESIGN was founded in early 2008 by architect Andreas Heyer in Frankenberg/Eder and produces door and window handles according to the principles of BAUHAUS. The company develops an adaptive handle system in which customers can individually combine handle shapes, fine hardwoods and rosette shapes. The solid stainless steel components are CNC-milled and CNC-turned from a single piece, while the wooden handles are sanded and shaped by hand and finished open-pore with natural oils and waxes. In contrast to mass production, which predominantly uses cast products, HEYERDESIGN operates as a manufacture exclusively to order and in limited small series. All products are made by hand in the company's own manufacture in Frankenberg/Eder; the delivery time is at least 10 working days.
