About the Heyne Fabrik
The Heyne Fabrik in Offenbach am Main is a listed former metal goods factory that today operates as a commercial property through Terrania AG (Munich) and is let directly by the owner. With 25,000 m² of usable space, the clinker brick buildings and the administration building erected by Hugo Eberhardt from 1912–1914 offer office and loft spaces of around 42 to 944 m². The original company Gebr. Heyne, founded in 1869, produced metal screws and precision turned parts and ceased operations in 1968; since the 1980s the buildings have been gradually converted into a service location. Today, companies from IT and the digital economy, the creative industries, fashion, health care as well as architecture and project development offices are based there, including cloudHQ, Demodern, Anton Gerl GmbH, Innovationeers and SBIT AG. The factory is part of the Route of Industrial Culture Rhine-Main and received the Hessian Monument Preservation Prize in 1999.
