About HFG Transport-Technik
HFG Transport-Technik GmbH is a family-owned company headquartered with its plant in Lauchhammer (Brandenburg) and has specialized in rolling bearing refurbishment for over 60 years. At the Lauchhammer site, overhaul and reconditioning of rolling bearings for rail vehicles (rolling stock) as well as industrial applications such as conveying technology and industrial plants have been carried out for more than 50 years. The service portfolio includes damage assessment, cleaning and re-greasing, clearance grinding (removal of fatigue layers), dimensional inspection and adjustment of axial clearance, as well as retrofitting to polyamide cages; also the refurbishment of housings. In addition, HFG manufactures its own bearing components such as rolling elements, polyamide cages and inner/outer rings and engineers standard and special bearings. Further services include laser marking and serialization for traceability, rolling bearing trading via an international procurement network, as well as training and consulting including certification preparation. Customers include Deutsche Bahn, ÖBB, SBB, PKP Cargo and LEAG.

Quality and Certifications
The quality management system for rolling bearing reconditioning, component marking, direct marking and serialization is certified to ISO 9001:2015; in addition, there is an ECM certificate (valid until 08/2030) which also covers ISO 9001. The Technical Approval of Deutsche Bahn (No. 33-2-19-11E) and PKP Cargo recognitions confirm the qualification for rolling bearing reconditioning of axlebox bearings.
