HFM Fertigung + Metall GmbH is a medium-sized mechanical engineering company based in Lengenwang in the Ostallgäu region. The company, with ten employees, produces individual parts, prototypes and small series as well as complete mechanical and mechatronic assemblies according to bill of materials and drawing on 1,200 square meters of production space. Manufacturing includes CNC milling up to 5-axis simultaneous, CNC turning, grinding, sawing, waterjet cutting, sheet metal processing, welding and surface treatment. The material standard is steel, in particular 16MnCr5, as well as various steel alloys and other materials. Customers come from industry, SMEs, trades, agriculture, as well as from sawmills, planing mills, carpentry workshops and sheet metal roofing businesses. Another business area is the repair and maintenance of machines, systems and tool parts. The company prefers to act as a complete solution provider, but also offers individual operations as an extended workbench.

All components undergo final inspection in a comprehensively equipped measuring room before delivery. First article inspection, 2.1 to 3.1 certificates, 3.2 acceptance by TÜV and statistical process control are available.

Robert Hampp founded the company Hampp in Seeg in the Allgäu with a manufacturing focus on mechanical engineering.
- 2023
Designation of a building area in Lengenwang; purchase of a building plot for a new production hall.

Construction start at Burgstall 7 in April, completion and start of production in November; name change to HFM Fertigung + Metall GmbH.
