About Hidrostal Austria
Hidrostal Austria GmbH, based in Amstetten/Mauer, is the Austrian sales and service subsidiary of the globally active Swiss Hidrostal Holding AG, headquartered in Neunkirch. Hidrostal develops and produces screw centrifugal impeller pumps and pumping systems, originally developed in the 1950s for damage-free fish transport from trawlers. The pumps with a single-vane screw centrifugal impeller are characterized by large free ball passages, clog-free operation, high hydraulic efficiency and gentle handling of solids-laden and shear-sensitive media. The portfolio includes centrifugal pumps, submersible and pedestal pumps, axial pumps, mixing systems as well as mobile pumping systems such as SuperBetsy with flow rates up to 3000 l/s and discharge nozzles up to 700 mm. Casting of the components is carried out through the company's own network of foundries, including grey cast iron, spheroidal graphite cast iron, duplex steel and chrome hard iron. Hidrostal Austria offers consulting, engineering, sales, commissioning, maintenance, repair with original spare parts as well as rental of pumps and pumping systems, and serves customers among others in wastewater treatment, construction, beer and malt production, food processing, metal processing and aquaculture.
