Hidrostal is a Swiss pump manufacturer headquartered in Neunkirch (SH), organized as Hidrostal Holding AG. The company develops and produces pumps, pump systems and solutions based on the patented screw centrifugal impeller, which enables clog-free, gentle and energy-efficient conveyance of solids-laden and shear-sensitive media. The portfolio includes End Suction Volute Pumps, compact pumps, submersible and immersible pumps, bearing frame pumps, Axial Diffuser and Vertical Turbine Pumps, as well as mixers, aerators and mobile pump sets; around 800 standard hydraulics can be combined with approximately 40 motors or 40 bearing frames. Flow rates range depending on the series from a few liters up to 3000 l/s with power ratings up to 800 kW and discharge flanges up to 700 mm. In terms of materials, cast iron, spheroidal graphite cast iron, chrome hard iron, stainless steel/V4A steel castings and duplex steel as well as elastomers such as EPDM, NBR, FKM and FFKM are offered, complemented by an in-house foundry network for customer-specific adaptations. Fields of application include wastewater and wastewater treatment plants, drainage and flood protection, industry (including oil-containing water, swarf and coolant, oil and gas), food (breweries, fruit, potatoes), aquaculture and fish-friendly pumping according to NEN 8775:2020. Hidrostal is active in over 100 countries and maintains subsidiaries in around 20 countries.
