About Hidrostal
Hidrostal is an independent, family-owned company headquartered in Neunkirch (Switzerland) that manufactures high-quality, low-maintenance pump systems – from small mobile construction site pumps to ten-ton heavy wastewater and high-density slurry pumps. At the core of the products is the patented screw centrifugal impeller, originally developed by Martin Stähle for low-damage fish handling. The company offers around 500 to 800 standard hydraulics, combinable with approximately 40 motors and 40 bearing frames, and develops customer-specific solutions up to complete pump series. Production takes place in its own plants in Switzerland, Hungary, England, China and Peru, complemented by its own foundries in Switzerland, Poland and Peru. Materials include grey cast iron, spheroidal cast iron, duplex steel, high-chrome cast iron and stainless steel (V4A). Hidrostal is active in over 100 countries, employs more than 1000 people worldwide and serves, in addition to wastewater and construction applications, industry, the food sector, aquaculture as well as beer and malt production.

Spheroidal cast iron
