About Hill's Pet Nutrition
Hill's Pet Nutrition develops and markets science-based pet nutrition for dogs and cats. The product range includes the brands Prescription Diet (clinical nutrition to support veterinary treatments), Science Plan (wellness food for all life stages) and Vet Essentials (multi-benefit food). The formulas are developed by more than 220 veterinarians, food scientists and nutrition scientists and draw on research areas such as the microbiome (ActivBiome+ technology), predictive biology and nutrigenomics. The safety standards follow the requirements for human food; all ingredients and finished products are analysed and tested. Hill's Pet Nutrition GmbH is a subsidiary of Colgate-Palmolive and, from its Hamburg location, serves the markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland with distribution via veterinary practices and specialty retail.
