About Hilscher
Hilscher Gesellschaft für Systemautomation mbH is an owner-managed industrial communication company founded in 1986 in Hattersheim am Main. At its core is the netX controller family, whose multiprotocol-capable architecture maps fieldbus and Real-Time Ethernet standards such as PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP and CC-Link IE Field onto one and the same hardware – via firmware swap without new hardware. The portfolio comprises multiprotocol SoCs (netX 90/100/500/900), embedded modules such as netRAPID and comX, cifX PC cards, gateways and switches, edge gateways as well as the netFIELD IIoT platform for central edge management. In addition, Hilscher offers network diagnostics (netANALYZER, netMIRROR), drivers for common operating systems, the netXStudio development environment, and services such as design-in, consulting and device pre-certification for PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT. The products are used in factory automation, drive and robotics technology, in sensors, PLC controls and HMI, as well as in machine retrofitting. Development and production take place at the headquarters in Hattersheim am Main; with around 430 employees and 12 international locations, the company serves customers worldwide.
