About HIOKI E.E. Corporation

HIOKI E.E. Corporation is a stock-listed company in electrical measurement technology, founded in Japan in 1935. The product portfolio comprises more than 200 main products, including power meters, current sensors, data loggers, battery testers, high-voltage test equipment, precision resistance meters, LCR meters, insulation testers, power quality analyzers and digital multimeters. Manufacturing takes place almost entirely in Japan at the headquarters in Ueda (Nagano Prefecture), where development and production have been centrally combined since 1989. Around 10 percent of revenue is invested annually in research and development; the company holds more than 1,000 patents (as of 2020). The HIOKI Innovation Center bundles laboratories for EMC testing, calibration in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, environmental, drop, vibration and shock testing as well as simulation and 3D printing. With HIOKI EUROPE GmbH, the company has also been represented in Europe since 2017 and supplies more than 80 countries.
