HiPer Ceramics GmbH, based in Oberkrämer near Berlin, specializes in the development and manufacture of high-performance ceramic components for industrial applications and the life science sector. For 30 years, the company has been producing precision components made of oxide, non-oxide and silicate ceramics as well as custom-made alumina ceramic parts to customer drawings. The value chain includes shaping, sintering, post-processing and finishing – from prototype construction to large-scale series for national and international customers. The team consists of around 80 specialists, including technicians, engineers and scientists. As a member of the HiPer Group, which also includes HiPer Medical AG and Zellwerk GmbH, the company leverages synergies in research and development for the continuous advancement of ceramic manufacturing processes. Through its sister company HiPer Medical AG, ceramic femoral heads and acetabular inserts for hip endoprosthetics are also manufactured, since 2018 also at a production facility in Spirit Lake, USA.
