Hirotec Manufacturing Deutschland GmbH is a subsidiary of Hirotec Europe GmbH and the first manufacturing site of the Japanese HIROTEC Group in Europe. In Geiselhöring, the company manufactures assembled stamping parts for automotive manufacturers as a Tier-1 supplier, including inner and outer panels of vehicle doors. The value chain comprises press and stamping processes, robot-assisted spot welding on GEO stations, hemming and quality inspection. In addition, the group develops and produces exhaust systems with tube bending and robotic welding as well as press, stamping and assembly dies and hemming systems based on CAE-supported simulation. The HIROTEC Group employs more than 6,000 people at 28 sites worldwide and achieves annual revenue of US$1.6 billion. Customers in Germany include Daimler and other OEMs.

Quality & Testing
Products undergo careful quality inspection after assembly, focusing on surface and weld quality as well as airtightness. Vehicle doors are tested by means of laser scanning vibrometry, stability and load tests, among others; exhaust systems are tested on roller dynamometers for exhaust noise, heat resistance and gas flow distribution.
