About Hirsch-Brauerei
Hirsch-Brauerei Honer GmbH & Co. KG is a family brewery founded in 1782 in Wurmlingen between the young Danube and the Swabian Alb. The brewery produces a broad range of beer specialties, including Helles, Pilsner, wheat beer variants, Zwickel, Bock beer and Radler, some also alcohol-free. Brewing malt comes from Baden-Württemberg; since 2015, cultivation contracts for barley malt have been in place with farmers around the brewery, and the hops come from the southern German growing regions of Tettnang and Hallertau. The brewery draws its brewing water from its own spring directly beneath the storage cellars. The premises include the Hirsch-Bierwelt, opened in 2006, with a museum and creative brewery, a brewery tavern and an adventure forest; in addition, the brewery offers guided tours, brew-it-yourself events and a festival service with beer wagons and cooling trailers.
