About Hirsch KG
Hirsch KG was founded in 1954 by Georg Hirsch in Marktredwitz and is today a medium-sized family-owned company with 116 employees on more than 10,000 sqm of production space. The company manufactures technical springs (compression, extension, torsion and flat springs), CNC turned parts, wire bent parts up to 10.00 mm wire thickness as well as rods made from round wire with diameters from 0.7 to 6.00 mm and lengths up to 3,000 mm. Production is carried out on spring coiling machines, CNC-controlled manufacturing centers with up to 28 programmable axes, eccentric presses, stamping presses and bending centers; around 200 million springs are produced annually. In addition, the company offers its own toolmaking with grinding, EDM and milling machines, spring calculation according to EN 13906-1:2002, R&D up to series maturity, and a 24-hour prototype service. The products are used in industries such as automotive, furniture manufacturing, medical technology, aerospace, the oil industry, mechanical engineering and pneumatics/hydraulics.
