EPS insulation systems from HIRSCH Porozell
HIRSCH Porozell GmbH develops and produces in Germany system solutions for thermal insulation and sound protection made from EPS (expandable polystyrene, colloquially Styropor). The product range includes insulation boards and elements for attics, flat and sloped roofs, facades (ETICS), floors and impact sound, basement ceilings, as well as perimeter and core insulation, complemented by the blown-in granulate PoroBead® 033 for double-leaf masonry and the thermal-insulating lightweight concrete Thermozell as a levelling fill. Production is carried out by shape and block foam moulding followed by processing, including lamination with OSB (12 mm) and chipboard (19 mm) with tongue-and-groove joint, raw glass fleece (120 g/m²) for flat roof boards, and fabric-reinforced PP film for underfloor heating folding boards. In addition, the company produces moulded parts and packaging made from EPS. With the REDcert²-certified LowCO2 and EcoCycle products, the company relies on renewable raw materials and recyclates; clean packaging and construction styropor is taken back into the circular economy. HIRSCH Porozell belongs to the internationally active HIRSCH Servo Group (35 locations, 11 countries, 1,900 employees) and supplies the construction industry, trade, and the screed and tiler trades from six German plants.

EPS LowCO2 / EcoCycle (REDcert² certified)
Graphite EPS with renewable raw materials and recycled materials, reduces CO2 emissions by up to two thirds.
