Hirschmann Car Communication GmbH, headquartered in Neckartenzlingen near Stuttgart, is a supplier of transmission and reception systems for communication in and with vehicles as well as for the M2M and telematics market. The product portfolio includes antenna systems for terrestrial and satellite radio, mobile communications, navigation/GNSS, V2X, CB radio, telematics, Wi-Fi/BT, Remote Keyless Entry, UWB, TETRA, PMR and 5G MIMO as well as analogue and digital tuner systems for standards such as DAB, DVB-T2, ISDB-T and Sirius XM. In addition, the company develops infotainment systems, the Remote Tuner Module offered since 2018, and M2M and telematics solutions ranging from GPS position tracking to smart metering. The headquarters with its own manufacturing facility is located in Neckartenzlingen; further German branches are located in Nuremberg, Fulda and Neu-Ulm, plus international subsidiaries in Hungary, the USA, France and China. Antenna and tuner systems are used in original equipment and in the aftermarket of the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. Since October 2023, the company has been part of Universal Scientific Industrial (USI); the workforce comprises more than 1,000 employees worldwide, 370 of them in Germany.
