About us
Hirschmann + Simmerl is a traditional Vienna-based company with over 50 years of experience in the repair, regrinding and reconditioning of saw blades and band saws. The company offers consulting and distribution across the entire range of cutting tools, including milling cutters, drills from Ø 0.05 mm, countersinks, threading tools and indexable insert tools for metal, plastics, stone and wood processing. Services include grinding, coating and reworking of carbide and HSS tools as well as the manufacture of special tools from own production. In addition, service and repair services for sawing machines are offered throughout Austria, including maintenance, inspection, fault diagnosis and replacement of wear parts. The portfolio also includes fully automatic CNC band sawing machines with logistics integration as well as compressed-air and electric tools from BIAX. The current corporate entity was founded in 2009 and employs 20 to 49 staff.
