About HIS Technology
HIS Technology GmbH is a development and manufacturing partner for cabling solutions, control cabinet construction and electrical assemblies based in Oberzent (Hesse). The company was formed in 2026 through the merger of HIK GmbH (cable assembly, assembly manufacturing, control cabinet construction) and HIS Renewables GmbH (integrated energy infrastructure solutions) and can look back on more than 40 years of company history. Manufactured products include custom cable harnesses and wiring sets, plug-ready electromechanical assemblies, control cabinets including wiring set manufacturing, generator connection boxes (DC/AC combiner boxes, firefighter and DC disconnect switches) as well as solar cables, battery storage systems (lithium iron phosphate), energy management systems and charging solutions for e-mobility. The value chain covers engineering and design, copper busbar processing, milling of plastic and steel enclosures, automated cable processing, software development including robotics, and an automated high-bay warehouse with automated guided vehicles. Around 400 employees at 6 locations serve around 2,000 customers in more than 60 countries, especially in photovoltaics, energy infrastructure, mechanical and plant engineering, rail technology, drive technology, medical technology and industrial automation.
