HIWIN Technologies Corp. (上銀科技) was founded in 1989 in Taichung, Taiwan, and is a manufacturer of motion control and automation components and systems. The product range includes ball screws, ball splines, linear guideways, bearings, harmonic drives (DATORKER), torque motor rotary tables, single- and multi-axis robots, end effectors, welding robot systems, medical robots and semiconductor subsystems including wafer handling systems (EFEM). The EFEM systems are manufactured with vertically integrated, in-house developed controllers and achieve a positioning accuracy of ±0.1 mm. Customer industries include semiconductors, optical inspection, photovoltaics, LED, PCB, machine tools, robotics and medical technology. The company employs around 6,268 people worldwide (as of March 2025), operates several plants in Taiwan as well as subsidiaries with production sites including in Germany, the USA, Japan and Italy. Research and development centers are located in Taichung, Tokyo and Offenburg.

Founded in October by Zhuo Yong-Cai (卓永財) in Taichung.
