An owner-managed family business from Upper Lusatia
HKM Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH is an owner-managed, medium-sized family business from Ebersbach-Neugersdorf in Saxony. The company manufactures technical plastic parts using the injection molding process from thermoplastic materials with part weights of up to 800 grams. A special feature is the in-house, technology-strong mold and tool making operation, in which injection molds made of metal with up to two components (2K) are designed and manufactured in-house. In addition, HKM offers precision parts manufacturing with milling (3-axis and 5-axis), turning, EDM, laser welding and laser engraving for contract workpieces made of metal and plastic. Customers come primarily from the office furniture, vehicle electronics, mechanical and plant engineering, adhesive technology and standard parts industries. The main site offers over 5,000 m² of production space as well as a climate-controlled measuring laboratory; customers in Europe and the USA are supplied. Since 2023, the company has been producing with sustainably generated solar power.
