About HKS
HKS Hünxer Kraftwerkservice GmbH is a power plant service provider founded in 2004 and active throughout Europe, with a focus on sustainable energy in biomass plants. The Hünxe site offers 10,000 m² of manufacturing space – around 7,000 m² of which is covered – fully equipped for boiler construction. The company manufactures, fabricates, machines and assembles all pressure-bearing and non-pressure boiler and plant components, from individual parts to complete plants, as well as piping systems. Together with its partner companies HMW Hünxer Membranwand GmbH & Co. KG (membrane wall segments and assemblies) and HVT Hünxer Valve Tec GmbH (repair, maintenance and modernization of valves), HKS offers tailor-made complete solutions from a single source. Its range of services includes short-notice spare parts manufacturing, revisions, modernization, conversion and new construction projects, as well as rapid emergency response. Around 60 qualified employees, including welding engineers, welding technicians and certified welders, carry out projects in compliance with standards and deadlines.
