About HKT-Kabeltechnik GmbH

HKT-Kabeltechnik GmbH is an owner-managed company founded in 1998, based in Dettingen an der Iller (Baden-Württemberg), specializing in the development, manufacturing and assembly of complex cabling systems for aerospace, the defense industry and the security sector. Its range of services includes cable harnesses, hybrid, adapter and device internal wiring, flat ribbon, Ethernet, bonding and circuit breaker systems as well as watertight cabling using shrink technology. Core technologies include semi- and fully automatic stripping, crimping and termination, soldering, crimp and IDC (insulation displacement) technology, twisting, re-shrinking and re-braiding, as well as overmolding and potting of connectors and assemblies with LSR silicone, 2K silicone, TPE, hotmelt (low pressure) and 2K epoxy resin. Cable and wire marking is carried out by inkjet/Corona or UV laser in accordance with BAC 5152, AS 50881 and SAE ARP5607. The company also manufactures its own connector series and pin patterns according to customer specifications. All products undergo 100% quality inspection including continuity testing of up to 4096 points, dielectric and insulation measurements as well as fiber optic and microscopic inspections. Its most important customer since foundation is a world market leader for cargo loading systems in the aviation industry.
