HL Kunststofftechnik GmbH is a mid-sized industrial service provider for the processing and machining of plastics, headquartered in Kabelsketal, district Zwintschöna, near Halle. As a specialist in fibre-reinforced plastics, the company processes semi-finished products made of thermoplastic and thermoset materials as well as CFRP and GFRP, manufacturing custom parts to customer specifications, from one-off pieces to small series. Its range of services extends from consulting, planning, design and plastics-appropriate engineering (2D and 3D data) through structural calculation and dimensioning, model and mould making, to machining on a 5-axis milling centre and assembly. A trading business for plastic and rubber semi-finished products integrated into the company — including PE, PVC, PEEK, PTFE and rubber — has complemented the offering since 2003. Customers come from automotive, mechanical engineering, environmental and apparatus engineering, the chemical industry, structural engineering, trade-fair and display technology, as well as pool construction and science. Reference projects include, among others, cover elements for air-conditioning systems of the ICE 3 for Trenitalia SIDAC as well as containers, tanks and apparatus made of PE and GFRP.
