About hlm elektronik
hlm elektronik is an owner-managed sensor manufacturing company in Petershagen that has been developing and producing float switches and level switches for level measurement since 1988. On more than 650 m², miniature float switches with an 8 mm stem tube, standard float switches with a 12 mm stem tube, and quasi-analog sensors for stepwise or continuous level detection are produced. The operating principle is based on reed contacts in the stem tube, which are actuated contactlessly by a magnet in the float. Thanks to a modular system with more than 4,500 product variants, the company produces customized sensor solutions from a quantity of 1 up to large-scale series, including special connectors and custom cable lengths. Products are handcrafted from stainless steel and the plastics PP, PVDF and PA, tailored to the medium, temperature, and chemical resistance. Customers include medical technology, laboratory equipment, mechanical engineering, as well as process monitoring and control technology.
