HMB - Hamburger Metallbildner GmbH is a craft metal design workshop that offers individual metal design according to customer requirements as well as surface treatment of metals. Individual and special-made items such as stairs and railings, signs and lettering, lights, bathroom and sanitary objects, furniture, fireplaces and stoves, as well as fittings are produced. Brass, copper, bronze, nickel, tin, stainless steel, and aluminum are processed, developing their characteristic appearance through appropriate processing and elaborate surface treatment. The team consists of four managing directors and six employees; the company was newly founded in 2014 by four long-standing employees of the former Michael Schmidt Metallgestaltung GmbH. Clients include well-known institutions, architects, artists, designers, hotels and gastronomy businesses, as well as private clients.
