About Hobbyholz
The company Hobbyholz of Mark Terhörst specializes in wood cutting and has been serving turners, knife makers, musical instrument makers and carvers for around a decade. From its own wood warehouse, customers can choose from over 80 wood species from 6 continents; on site, more than 20,000 pre-machined blanks and strips are available, which can also be cut to customer requirements (by appointment). In addition to cutting, accessories and consumables are offered, including turning chisels, pen kits, adhesives, surface products, sanding cloth and dust masks. Shipping of fine woods has been a core business since the first online shop went online in early 2001. An own product is the water-based surface treatment No Visible Oil, which protects wood without changing its look and feel.
