About hochkant
hochkant GmbH, based in Gestratz in the Allgäu region, plans, manufactures and installs customised adventure worlds: play structures and playgrounds, rope courses and climbing parcours, themed and adventure trails, park and garden furnishings as well as signage systems. Its offerings are aimed at municipalities and the public sector, tourism associations, hotels, museums and open-air museums as well as private individuals. The portfolio covers the entire value chain from idea and consulting through design, 3D planning and structural engineering to general planning, prefabrication in the company's own assembly hall and workshop, on-site installation, acceptance by testing bodies and annual inspection. Production is predominantly one-off custom manufacturing from robinia and larch wood, round timbers and construction timbers; stainless steel, acrylic glass, Dibond, HPL, stone and metal are also used. An in-house pressure impregnation plant enables constructive wood protection. Projects have been realised, among others, for the City of Nuremberg, Westfalenpark Dortmund, the State Garden Shows Wangen 2024 and Neuss 2026 and the Rapunzel visitor centre in Legau. All installations are built in accordance with the applicable safety standards for publicly accessible playgrounds.
