About Hölker Verlag
Hölker Verlag is a publishing house specialising in cookbooks, headquartered in Münster. In the mid-1970s, Wolfgang Hölker began selling regional cookbooks from Münster, Schleswig-Holstein and Tyrol, bound in colourful linen, containing handwritten marginal notes and getting by without photos; the publishing house grew out of this. Today the programme comprises culinary titles from all over the world – from regional cuisine and baking books to international themes such as Provence, Venice or curry dishes. Particular value is placed on design and high-quality production; the books are created in collaboration with authors, photographers and creatives and are mostly published as hardcovers, partly with foil or gold foil. The publisher belongs to Coppenrath Verlag GmbH & Co. KG at Hafenweg 30 in Münster and, in addition to programme planning and editorial work, also offers sales as well as press and public relations work. Manuscripts from cookbook authors are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
