About HÖR Technologie
HÖR Technologie GmbH develops and manufactures complete gearboxes and technically demanding individual parts, including camshafts, eccentric shafts and gear components. The company supports projects from prototype to series production across the entire spectrum of services: calculation, simulation, analysis, design, manufacturing, heat treatment, quality assurance, assembly and testing. The precision parts, some featuring highly complex special geometries, are manufactured with a production accuracy of up to one thousandth of a millimetre. Customers come from the automotive industry, motorsport (Formula 1), aerospace, mechanical engineering, energy technology, machine tool manufacturing, rail technology, medical technology and the special gearbox sector. Founded in 1979 in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate, the company today employs around 300 staff at its Weiden and Mitterteich sites. Where existing machinery is insufficient, HÖR Technologie develops its own aids and adaptations.
