HÖRGERÄTE SEIFERT GmbH is an owner-managed family business in the field of hearing acoustics, founded in 1962 by Ewald Seifert in Ingolstadt. With more than 90 branches in southern Germany and over 400 employees, the company supplies customers with hearing systems and hearing protection solutions. In the company's own professional laboratory in Planegg near Munich, individually custom-made otoplastics (earpieces) as well as individually configured hearing protection are produced – manually from an ear impression or using modern 3D technology: a laser measurement of the impression is converted by software into an exact 3D model of the ear canal, from which the otoplastic is produced in a 3D printer. Under the SEIFERT PROTECT brand, the company offers commercial hearing protection for industry, trade and professional use, including active electronic noise protection, earmuff hearing protection and individual noise protection with interchangeable filters; SEIFERT PROSOUND manufactures custom-made in-ear monitoring solutions for musicians, gamers and athletes. The range of services also includes on-site consulting at the company, ear impressions, functional testing with attenuation value documentation as well as continuous inspections, maintenance and training.
