About Hofer technics AG
Hofer technics AG develops and manufactures clamping systems and automation solutions for machining production, including the associated software and grippers. The portfolio includes zero-point clamping systems (TITAN), manual bolt systems (HoLock), basic clamping elements such as clamping towers, cubes, double angles and pyramids for 5-axis machining, six families of multi-clamping systems as well as mechanical and pneumatic centering clamps (VARIO, REX). In addition, the company supplies automation cells for workpiece and pallet handling, hybrid solutions, robot gripper systems, Robojob Turn Assist for lathes, and its own host computer software KAHUNA. All mechanical components and assemblies are produced in-house: drilling/milling, turning, grinding, inspection and assembly. Materials are mainly steel (hardened/ground, nitrided, case-hardened), aluminium, GG25 and mineral casting. Hofer technics AG in Würenlingen is responsible for sales, engineering and design; production is handled by Hofer Maschinentechnik AG in Sarmenstorf. All products are Made in Switzerland.
