About Hoffmann Messtechnik

Hoffmann Messtechnik GmbH was founded in 1989 out of the engineering office of the same name and specialises in the development of optimised sensors and measuring stations for meteorology. The product range includes ventilated temperature sensors, sensors for relative humidity, wind direction and wind speed, leaf wetness sensors as well as mini-psychrometers with Pt-1000 temperature measurement. In addition, the company develops data loggers according to customer requirements and designs complete weather stations, including solar-powered, self-sufficient measuring stations with high data density (1 measurement per second per channel) and up to 32 channels. Alongside meteorological instruments, electronic measuring devices and sensors for general physical metrology are also produced, for example for radiation measurement, calibration radiators (black body), visibility and air pollutants (DOAS and ECD), as individual units or in small series. Its customers include above all institutions such as universities, research institutes (Fraunhofer, Max Planck), state authorities, associations and the German Weather Service. The company is based in Rauenberg near Heidelberg.
