Hofmair Kies is a family business that has existed for over 45 years, headquartered in Untermarchenbach near Zolling in the district of Freising. From a small excavator operation, the company developed into a gravel and concrete plant that produces and delivers gravel and sand as well as ready-mixed concrete. The range of services also includes landfill and backfilling work, demolition and earthworks of all kinds, transport services and recycled construction materials. In 2024, a new concrete mixing plant was built at the Zolling site. In February 2024, the Untermarchenbach plant received certification according to the standard of the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC).
