Hohenloher Asphalt-Mischwerke GmbH & Co. KG (HAM) and Main-Tauber-Asphaltmischwerke GmbH & Co. KG (MTA) form a corporate group with its administrative headquarters in Bretzfeld-Schwabbach that specializes in the production of asphalt mix. At five production plants in Heilbronn, Schwäbisch Hall-Sulzdorf, Boxberg, Walldürn and Obrigheim-Asbach, asphalt concrete, stone mastic asphalt, porous asphalt and mastic asphalt are produced in accordance with DIN EN 13108. In Sulzdorf, a foam bitumen plant is also available for the production of TA asphalt mix. The group can look back on more than 50 years of experience in asphalt production and supplies road, civil engineering and transport infrastructure construction in the regions of Heilbronn, Schwäbisch Hall, Bad Mergentheim and Neckar-Odenwald. In addition to production, the group operates a central laboratory for construction materials testing with in-house production control as well as a technical service at the Heilbronn site. As an IHK-recognized training company, the company trains process mechanics for asphalt technology and construction materials testers.
