About HOLLFELDER-GÜHRING

HOLLFELDER-GÜHRING GmbH designs and manufactures chip-forming precision tools at its Nuremberg and Lützen/Zorbau sites for the most demanding requirements in metal cutting. The portfolio includes adjustment systems, milling tools (including HPC milling cutters, shell and slotting cutters), fine boring tools, turning tools, drilling and countersinking tools, broaching tools as well as custom tool solutions. Production takes place on CNC, turning, milling, grinding and EDM machines; the cutting inserts made of carbide, cermet, PCD and CBN are precision-ground in the company's own grinding shops. Laser processing and PVD coating are also available at the Zorbau site. The tools are used, among other things, for bearing clearance machining, turbocharger and housing machining, as well as for oil pumps and diesel injection systems. The offering is complemented by engineering support, test machining operations, user training and a reconditioning and resharpening service for PCD and CBN cutting inserts. Both sites are certified to ISO 9001:2015; the company is part of the Gühring Group.
