About hollomet
hollomet GmbH, based in Dresden (Oesterreicher Str. 95), is a development and manufacturing partner for cellular materials made of metallic and ceramic materials. The product portfolio comprises metallic hollow spheres (globomet®), ceramic hollow spheres (globocer®) and open-cell metal foams (foamet®), complemented by customized composites. From these materials, hollomet develops and manufactures components for thermal management, process engineering, lightweight construction, energy absorption and design. Fields of application include air heating, process gas heating, exhaust gas aftertreatment and reaction engineering, with the foamet® heatAirEC technology enabling electric heating with catalytic functionalization. Customers come from the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, process engineering and environmental technology. In addition to series production, the company offers research and development as well as individual product developments in partnership with customers.
